Our public consultation is now at the half way point.
So far, news about the Isle of Wight Road Races has been publicised via the Isle of Wight County Press, Island Echo, Isle of Wight Observer and Isle of Wight Radio amongst other media outlets. It has also been heavily shared via social media. “Our aim is to engage the widest audience, with a particular emphasis on the people who live and work close to the course around Chale, Brighstone and Shorwell”, commented a spokesman for IWRR.
A community meeting was attended by around 130 people on 12th August and additional community meetings have been arranged in conjunction with Chale, Brighstone and Shorwell parish councils. See the PC websites for more details.
